Chelsea midfielder Ramires feels improvement coming with every new game

Chelsea midfielder Ramires feels he's getting better with every game.

The Brazil international is beginning to establish himself as a first-choice in the Blues midfield.

"I am happy that I have improved and have been growing, thanks to the other players and the staff who have welcomed me very well and gave me a lot of support," he told chelseafc.com.

"Ever since I arrived Carlo Ancelotti has shown a lot of confidence in my job, and gave me time to adapt in the beginning, to gain confidence myself, and to hear that from the coach is pleasing. I always try to do my best on the pitch, and when I show what I can do it is good to get positive comments, not just from the coach but also from colleagues.

"After the City game I replayed the goal four or five times but I haven't watched it since, and more than ever now I still have to keep my feet on the ground and know I have a lot to improve, but I also have a lot more to offer in the future, and it is more important that Chelsea are competing to make the supporters proud, and bringing the success that this club deserves."
