Chelsea midfielder Lucas Piazon insists he valued last season's loan with Vitesse Arnhem.
His spell in the Eredivisie ended in controversy, with the Brazilian being jettisoned back to London before the end of the season.
But Piazon insists: "It was a very good experience.
"I have played a lot of games, it was something very important to me at that moment. I think I've done well in the beginning. After February fell back a little, but when you look at the season in its totality, I think it went well for me."
He added: "The Eredivisie is a great competition. All teams are trying to play football and try to play forward. Every team wants the ball and wants to keep it on the ground."
