Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante gets all-clear after fainting at training

Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante has been given the all-clear after fainting at the training ground last week.

The London Evening Standard says the midfielder trained normally with the rest of his teammates at Chelsea's training base in Cobham on Friday before fainting upon his return to the dressing room.

He was immediately attended to by club doctors who subsequently carried out a series of tests, including cardiology tests, on the 26-year-old - all of which came back negative.

After being given the all-clear, Kante travelled with the Chelsea squad to Manchester ahead of the club's Premier League clash against Pep Guardiola's City side on Sunday.

However, Kante reported that he did not feel 100 per cent well on Sunday morning, just hours before the game, which resulted in coach Antonio Conte making the decision not to play the midfielder at the Etihad Stadium.

The France international has since been given the all-clear to return to training, which he did on Monday afternoon at Cobham.
