Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante admits he's amazed to be in the World Cup final with France.
In 2015, N'Golo Kante was playing in the French top flight with Caen, a club he had helped to get promotion from Ligue 2 the previous season.
A year later, he lifted the Premier League title with Leicester and reached the Euro 2016 final with France.
In 2017, Kante was a Premier League winner again with Chelsea, and also a Ballon D'Or nominee.
This year, he has already added an FA Cup winner's medal to his growing haul, and on Sunday in Moscow he could get a World Cup one, too.
“In these few years, many amazing things have happened to me in football and I really appreciate that," said Kante, with typical understatement. “Now it's the World Cup and I really hope we can achieve something together at this stage."
