Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount is excited to be part of Frank Lampard's Derby County.

Loan signing Mount now has the chance to work with his hero on a daily basis.

Lampard's lieutenant at Derby is Jody Morris, who was Mount's youth team coach at Chelsea.

"I worked with Jody and the gaffer I looked up to because I am a Chelsea player. Obviously, he was a midfielder as well. Derby is such a massive club. There's a great history behind it and the fans are great as well. It was definitely up there at the top of my list after speaking with them.

"The opportunity was something I couldn't turn down. It has been the best choice for me. I need to keep learning about the players - and I am sure we can do brilliant stuff."
