Chelsea midfielder Lucas Piazon has suffered a broken jaw on-loan at Fulham.
Piazon, 23, was injured as he fouled Cardiff City winger Kadeem Harris during Saturday's 2-2 Championship draw in Wales, picking up a yellow card in the process to add insult to injury.
Fulham confirmed after the game that the Brazilian had fractured his jaw during the match, and released a statement on Sunday which stated that the Chelsea forward will be out until at least April following surgery.
The statement read: "Following an injury sustained in the first half of our 2-2 draw with Cardiff City, the club can confirm that Lucas Piazon underwent surgery on his jaw on Saturday evening.
A rehabilitation period of approximately two months is expected. Further information will be [released] in due course."
