Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard insists no-one can take their England place for granted.
Lampard lead England to defeat to Chile last night.
"I understand that with age and in different parts of your career, you have different challenges and I'm determined to show the manager that regardless of age, which he's always said doesn't matter whether you're 17-35, that he won't look at it any differently. The rest is up to me.
"There were some omissions in the past which surprised people or Theo Walcott got picked when he was 17 and no-one expected that. It's all certain manager's choices, everyone will want to go into a tournament wanting to win for the right reasons and pick the right squad to win."
