Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard is happy he chose to resist a move to MLS this season.
Lampard signed a new one-year contract extension with the Londoners in May, rather than take a lucrative deal with MLS club LA Galaxy.
He said: "I certainly made the right decision to stay at Chelsea and in the Premier League. I'm very pleased to be working under Jose Mourinho again because he's been brilliant for me.
"If I hadn't been at Chelsea, then Champions League nights wouldn't have been possible and England wouldn't have been, either.
"Jose has always said it's about me trusting him and him trusting me... I've got complete faith in him, whether I'm playing every game or not.
"When you have that extra trust in your manager then it's not a problem how he uses you. I'm just trying to stay fit and contribute."
