Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard admits his England career could've been threatened if Harry Redknapp had won the manager's job.
Lampard, 35, was given his league debut at West Ham when Redknapp was in charge and his dad, Frank Snr, was his No.2.
It led to claims that he only played because of the family ties.
But talking about the England situation, Lampard said: "However much I might have wanted Harry to get the England job, we both knew it would have brought up issues."
