Brentford midfielder John Swift is eager to extend his loan from Chelsea.

Swift says he would like to stay with the Championship club until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old has impressed since arriving in October and currently has a short-term deal at Griffin Park until the end of November, which he wants to extend.

He told Sky Sports: "I'd love to stay until the end of the season, it's a good experience for me.

"I've been at Chelsea since I was 14 and I'd love to break into the first team, but obviously I've just got to keep doing what I'm doing now.

"Keep playing, keep getting the minutes, and hopefully in the next couple years I'll go back and see what happens."
