Doncaster Rovers are set to sign Chelsea midfielder Jordan Houghton on a season long loan deal, according to reports from the Daily Mail.

Houghton is a talented young player presently in the Chelsea ranks and the midfielder enjoyed fruitful loan spells with Gillingham and Plymouth Argyle throughout the course of last season.

Now according to reports, Houghton looks set for another loan spell as he is on the verge of joining League Two outfit Doncaster for a season-long spell.

Once Houghton's move goes through, he will become the 15th player temporarily sent out by Chelsea for the 2016/17 season.
