Chelsea midfielder Yossi Benayoun has made a playing comeback - for Israel.
Benayoun made a return to competitive football on Tuesday night, appearing for the final 20 minutes in Israel's European Championship qualifying victory over Georgia.
The Chelsea man, injured since September with an Achilles tear, came on in the 71st minute and helped his side achieve a 1-0 win, their goal coming just before the hour.
The win puts the Israelis third in Group F, a point behind leaders Greece, but they have played a game more than both the Greeks and Croatia in second.
