Newcastle United and Tottenham are interested in Chelsea midfielder Yossi Benayoun.
The Sun says Chelsea have offered Spurs the Israeli midfielder as a makeweight in their bid to sign Luka Modric.
But Newcastle are also ready to give the 31-year-old regular football.
Benayoun has two years left on his contract but only played nine times for Chelsea since joining from Liverpool for £5.5million last summer.
Now he is ready to push through a move and his first choice would be Spurs. However they are holding firm in their bid to keep Modric.
