Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is delighted with his move to AC Milan.

Bakayoko has joined Milan on a season-long loan.

He said, "Serie A interests me a lot. In France, it's a popular championship. My idols were Weah, van Basten and Maldini. These are examples to follow.

"I will try to give the best of me for this jersey.

"Last season, I worked and learned a lot with Antonio Conte in Chelsea. It's easier for me to adapt to the Italian language. I joined Milan to give me a chance. I have not talked about my role yet. I will try to give the best of myself everywhere."
