Danish wonderkid Simon Kjaer is being chased by Chelsea and Middlesbrough.

The Sun says the Blues and Boro have had scouts watching the Denmark Under-19 international centre-half, who plays for FC Midtjylland.

Real Madrid had a £500,000 summer bid for Kjaer, 18, rejected.

His agent, former Boro striker Mikkel Beck, said: "Most big clubs in Europe have shown interest because Simon has everything to succeed at the highest level."
