Lucio has opened new contract talks with Inter Milan as Chelsea and Manchester City circle. The Brazil defender is now inside the final year of his current deal and his agent recently made a trip to England speak with Chelsea and City about a move.
It is understood that the South American currently earns 3m a campaign in Italy.
Lucio's agent Sandro Becker is expected to meet with club officials at some stage next week to reach a compromise.
