Chelsea management pleased with Stoch progress at FC Twente

Chelsea management are delighted with the progress of Miroslav Stoch on-loan at FC Twente.

The young winger has been impressive for Steve McClaren's high flyers.

Chelsea chief Frank Arnesen told chelseafc.com: "There was the possibility of Miroslav going out to an English club but playing time was important. We need always to be sure he will have a 75 per cent chance of playing if he does well.

"Steve McClaren had a look and decided he was a really good player and took him and the football in Holland suits Miroslav because it is technical more than physical, and the experience is much better than reserve football.

"The coach is very important too and Steve McClaren knows English football as well and Miroslav is probably the sensation of the Dutch League this year. FC Twente have never won the Dutch league so it is interesting to see how that goes."
