Chelsea management expect big things from Jacob Mellis.
Mellis is currently on-loan at Barnsley.
Blues chief Frank Arnesen told chelseafc.com: "Jacob Mellis started very well at Barnsley also and scored two goals before he unfortunately got injured but I am looking forward to seeing him play there again."
Mellis is also an England youth international.
