Chelsea have decided to drop their pursuit of Inter Milan fullback Douglas Maicon.

The Daily Express says Chelsea's previous interest in £20m-rated defender Maicon has cooled because of concerns over his alleged love of the nightlife.

Real Madrid remain keen on the Brazil international.
