La Liga president Javier Tebas has made it vehemently clear that the league's two biggest stars will not be leaving anytime soon.
Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo continues to be linked with the likes of Chelsea, former club Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain while Barcelona maestro Lionel Messi has emerged as a shock target for Arsenal.
However, Tebas insists that the Spanish top flight's two shining stars are highly unlikely to be making surprise moves away from the Primera Division.
"Ronaldo and Messi have been supposed to leave at least twice in recent years," he told AS.
"Ronaldo and Messi leaving La Liga is as likely as Catalan independence - impossible."
