Chelsea, Man Utd eyes directed at PSG ace Cavani

French journalist Dominique Severac hinted on the weekend that Edinson Cavani is still being courted by a couple of Premier League clubs.

The Uruguayan striker returned to the Paris Saint-Germain line-up for the first time in more than a month when scoring in Sunday's 2-0 victory over Marseille.

Le10Sport attributed quotes to Severac saying that Chelsea and Manchester United were 'making eyes' at Cavani but suggested that the former Palermo and Napoli star is feeling very happy in Paris.

"Cavani is absent for four weeks, he returned, he scores, he looks very, very happy," Severac reportedly said.

"There was a little misty fragrance around him, is he is so happy it to Paris with Chelsea and Manchester United that make eyes at him ...?

"Still, he scored against Marseille, it is very, very happy to be in Paris Saint-Germain and especially his mental and physical freshness will greatly rely on the end of the season with some very important deadlines."

Last week, it was also suggested by Jose Mourinho in an interview with both L'Equipe and Canal Football Club that Chelsea were indeed showing interest in the 27-year old striker who has netted 14 Ligue 1 goals in 22 outings this season.
