Chelsea and Manchester United have been encouraged by Real Madrid's low contract offer to Angel di Maria.

The Argentina winger has been touting himself to Real, despite his club denying an offer has arrived for the midfielder.

Chelsea and United are also interested in Di Maria and Marca says Real have offered him a contract worth £1.7 million-a-year - which would make him among the lowest paid players at the club.
