Chelsea and Manchester United are ready to battle European rivals for Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger.
Bild says Bayern chiefs are resigned to losing the Germany international, who is off contract at the end of this season and can discuss a pre-contract with rival clubs from January 1.
Chelsea, United, AC Milan, Inter and Juventus are all chasing Schweinsteiger.
