The Daily Mail says Benteke's agent has dismissed the idea that a deal could be done with Atletico in January, with the player keen to remain in the Premier League.
Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United have all monitored Benteke's progress this season.
His form would dictate he will stay at Aston Villa until the summer, but the fact he is eligible for the Champions League means he could yet be the subject of offers in the final throes of the January window.
