David Villa has made it clear that he will not depart Catalan giants Barcelona in the near future.
The Spanish striker has recently been linked with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City but has put that speculation to bed by saying he wants to end his career at the Nou Camp.
"Hopefully I can retire at Barca because that would mean everything has been great for me," he told the club's official website.
"I would like to have the chance to retire at Barca even though I'm only 29. It would be very nice. I want to be at Barca as long as possible."
