Chelsea are monitoring Gregory van der Wiel's situation at Ajax.

The Holland fullback has been long-term target for Chelsea and it was a surprise when the summer market shut and was still with Ajax.

Van der Wiel is now being targeted by the Ajax boo-boys, which could force a decision from the young defender about a move away.

Manchester City are also interested as they consider him a replacement for Jerome Boateng, who moved to Bayern Munich in August.
