Chelsea and Manchester City's push for Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos is gathering pace. Both Sport and El Mundo Deportivo says today that Ramos is coming to the end of his tether as Real continue to drag their feet over new contract talks.
Ramos has seen promises made by Real management unfulfilled and his brother and agent, Rene, is now actively in discussions with interested clubs. The defender is going down the same road as former teammate Robinho and could join the Brazilian at Eastlands.
AC Milan are also long-term admirers, but Ramos now favours a move to England and both City and Roman Abramovich's Chelsea won't baulk at Real's expected £40 million asking price.
