Chelsea, Man City know Kaka price as Real Madrid reject €30M Inter offer

Real Madrid have put Kaka up for sale at €40 million. Marca says Inter Milan have tabled a straight cash offer of €30 million for the former World Player of the Year, but were informed Real will not budge from their €40 million assessment.

"If we are going to lose money on him, we will keep him here," said a Real insider.

Kaka has cost Real €10 million-a-year over the two seasons he's been with the club, which paid AC Milan €67 million for his transfer.

Chelsea and Manchester City continue to monitor developments and have the spending power to comfortably meet Real's asking price.

The stumbling block, particularly for Chelsea, could be Kaka's wages, with the Brazilian reluctant to take a cut on what he is earning at Real.
