Real Madrid have put Kaka up for sale at 40 million. Marca says Inter Milan have tabled a straight cash offer of €30 million for the former World Player of the Year, but were informed Real will not budge from their €40 million assessment.
"If we are going to lose money on him, we will keep him here," said a Real insider.
Kaka has cost Real €10 million-a-year over the two seasons he's been with the club, which paid AC Milan €67 million for his transfer.
The stumbling block, particularly for Chelsea, could be Kaka's wages, with the Brazilian reluctant to take a cut on what he is earning at Real.
