Cavani is not happy about playing second-fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the Parc des Princes and may be ready to ask his advisors to discretely investigate a move away. Manchester City reportedly made a £29m offer for Cavani in the last transfer window, while Chelsea were also heavily linked with a move for the 26-year old.
Latest reports suggest that despite both clubs investing heavily in other striking options over the summer, both retain an interest in Cavani.
The Daily Express says Arsenal would also welcome an opportunity to bring Cavani to the Premier League having broken with their thrifty transfer habits to sign Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid.
