Chelsea and Manchester City are keeping tabs on Yacine Brahimi's new contract talks with Valencia.

Sport Valenciano says Valencia are battling to agree new terms with their star man.

Brahimi wants parity with skipper Dani Pareja on €2.5 million-a-year, while Valencia are offering him €2 million-a-year.

City chief Txiki Begiristain is a big fan of Brahimi and scouted him personally last season.
