A Premier League scramble has kicked off for Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus. The Daily Star says Reus has a £19.6million buy-out clause in his contract and Manchester City and Arsenal are already fighting to activate that.
But Chelsea are now involved, too, even though manager Jose Mourinho originally distanced himself from getting involved in the scrap for Reus, who missed the World Cup through injury.
Chelsea now feel Reus, 25, is too good to miss at that fee.
Chelsea have Edin Hazard and Oscar established as two of the three players operating behind target-man Diego Costa.
The third spot is up for grabs and being contested by Willian, Ramires and Andre Schurrle.
But that place could now go to Reus, who not surprisingly has also been linked with Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
