Chelsea have made an offer for RacingGenk goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
Het Belang van Limburg says Chelsea have tabled an opening bid for the young shot-stopper, who was outstanding last season for the Belgian champions.
Courtois would move to Stamford Bridge as the long-term successor for No1 Petr Cech.
Genk chief Dirk Degraen confirmed the offer, though told the newspaper he did not have details of how high the bid was.
Chelsea are also interested in Courtois' teammate, Kevin de Bruyne.
