Chelsea have made a fresh approach to Palermo for star Josip Ilicic.
The Slovenia international only moved to Palermo last year, but has been likened to Real Madrid star Kaka.
Chelsea made fresh enquiries for Ilicic, 22, but the Italian side want £12million and any deal is likely to be shelved until the summer.
The Blues are focusing on Slovenian talent, having struck a collaboration with NK Maribor.
