Chelsea are determined to prise Alexandre Pato away from AC Milan.
The News of the World says Chelsea will make a fresh £50m offer for AC Milan's Brazilian striker Pato, 19, after their £45m bid was rejected.
Blues owner Roman Abramovich wants to sign Pato in time for the unveiling of new manager Carlo Ancelotti a week on Monday.
