Chelsea have made a late bid for Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos. The Daily Star says they have made a late move to hijack Real Madrid's £25m deal for Kroos.
It is understood Real bosses have agreed a fee with Bayern Munich and Kroos will put pen to paper on a long term deal at the Bernabeu after the World Cup.
But new reports in Spain today claim the Blues have launched a late bid to rivals Real's and hope to persuade the German international to come to Stamford Bridge instead.
Bayern are understood to have baulked at the 24-year-old's wage demands, not a problem however for either Real or Chelsea.
