Chelsea are considering making a £7 million offer for Wigan Athletic winger Luis Antonio Valencia.
The Mirror says Blues boss Luiz Felipe Scolari will make his move for the 23-year-old after he lost cruciate ligament victim Joe Cole for the rest of the season.
The South American is also on the radar of Manchester United and Real Madrid. But Scolari can offer Valencia a regular starting place - something United and Madrid cannot.
