Chelsea are without striker Didier Drogba and midfielder Frank Lampard for their opening Champions League game against Rosenborg at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.

Drogba is out with a knee problem and Lampard remains troubled by his thigh injury.

Peru striker Claudio Pizarro is doubtful with a calf strain and Michael Ballack and Wayne Bridge miss out with ankle problems. Centre-half Ricardo Carvalho is also out with a thigh injury.
