Chelsea loanee Tomas Kalas is eyeing promotion to the Premier League with his current club Fulham.
The Czech Republic international had cemented his place in the Fulham's starting XI before a hamstring injury ruled him out last month.
Kalas, 23, is now closing on a return and aims to help the Cottagers reclaim their position in England's top flight.
When asked about his reason to join the Cottagers, he told Chelsea's official website: "To play games, that's what I need. That's the first point.
"The second point is to win something. I got promoted with Middlesbrough and I think Fulham have the squad to get promoted as well. The season has been a bit up and down so far, but we are close to the play-offs and there are so many games things can turn very quickly."
Kalas also touched on his goals for the season in the interview: "With Fulham, try to chase the play-offs at least.
"That would be perfect. With my international team, try to get as many caps as I can.
"Looking at my own game, I want to keep learning, developing and improving."
The London club currently occupy the 11th spot in the Championship table.
