Chelsea and Liverpool face a dilemma over their interest in Hamburg SV midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu.
Calhanoglu has declared he wants to leave HSV for Bayer Leverkusen, but his club are unhappy that Bayer are refusing to offer more than £12 million for the youngster.
Knowing Liverpool and Chelsea are among clubs keen, HSV's board are convinced they can raise much more than what Bayer have tabled.
The question is, however, whether Calhanoglu would be prepared to move elsewhere should HSV accept a higher bid.
"I will definitely leave HSV," he said. "From my perspective, for the coming season I see myself clearly at Bayer."
