Chelsea and Liverpool are chasing AS Monaco midfielder Temoué Bakayoko.

The 22 year-old has been linked with Barcelona, however, France Football says Chelsea and Liverpool are now showing serious interest.

Both Premier League clubs made discreet enquiries after Bakayoko over the summer and have watched him regularly this season.

Bakayoko was signed from Nantes for €8 million and ASM management will expect to treble their money should they sell.

The midfielder is now regarded as a first-choice for ASM coach Leonardo Jardim.
