Chelsea are interested in Argie firebrand Mauro Icardi at Inter Milan. Inter have announced the outright signing of Icardi this month after buying the outstanding 50 per cent of his registration from Sampdoria.
And Sky Italia says the Nerazzurri are now prepared to cash in, with Chelsea keen.
Icardi would arrive as an ideal foil for incoming centre-forward Diego Costa, of Atletico Madrid.
However, Icardi's move would not be without controversy. The striker became embroiled in a love saga with the former wife of Catania striker Maxi Lopez, Wanda. The pair were once teammates and friends, but Icardi was happy to taunt Maxi throughout the season on Twitter over his relationship with Wanda and Maxi's children.
