Chelsea will allow Thibaut Courtois to spend a second season on-loan at Atletico Madrid.
Blues officials are confident Atletico will agree not to field Courtois in the European Super Cup next season.
The two teams will meet eachother after Chelsea won the Champions League and Atletico the Europa League.
Atletico will expect an extra fee from Chelsea to keep Courtois out of the line-up.
