Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola says Jose Mourinho's team deserve to be champions this season.

Zola also dismissed criticism of Chelsea's football.

He told talkSPORT: "There has been a lot of talk about Chelsea, and how they have played, but I believe, in the first part of the season, they played brilliant football and they totally deserve this [title].

"The last few weeks, probably the standard of football hasn't been as good as before, but in a league like the Premier League, which is so draining, you cannot keep the same standards. Chelsea totally deserve it."
