Chelsea legend John Terry wants one more season with Aston Villa.

The Mirror says Terry has decided that there is still one more campaign in his legs — and Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce is aware of his plans.

The 37-year-old has played a key role for Villa, adding a winning mentality to a dressing room that had seriously lost its way.

Although automatic promotion appears to be a long shot, the indications are that Terry would be happy to stay at Villa Park – and potentially play against his old club Chelsea if Villa do manage to go up.
