Chelsea legend John Terry took in Olympique Marseille training yesterday.

The Daily Mail says Terry was a surprise onlooker at Marseille's pre-season training camp on Tuesday.

The Ligue 1 outfit are preparing for the new campaign and were taking part in a session in Portugal after drawing 1-1 with Sporting Lisbon over the weekend.

Terry, 37, is a free agent having left Aston Villa at the end of last season and is believed to have taken in a visit to Marseille's training session while on holiday with his family.

The centre back shook hands and spoke with players and coaches before sitting down and observing the players in action during their training drills.
