Frank Lampard has no regrets spending 13 years with Chelsea.
Speaking with BBC Sport, the New York City midfielder admitted he had several opportunities to move abroad during his time at Stamford Bridge.
"I would have loved to learn another language. I had some offers from real top European clubs. So it would have been a good way to test myself.
"I did consider it, then rejected. What would it mean to leave Chelsea? Not to be part of an era and a team that may win the Champions League, the Europa League and other titles? The grass is not always greener elsewhere. I had a great career in England.
"These memories are my career and no one can take from me."
