Chelsea legend Glenn Hoddle was surprised to see Andre Villas- Boas sacked on Sunday.
Former England boss Hoddle has sympathy for Andre Villas-Boas who was sacked on Sunday - the seventh boss to be axed by Chelsea in eight years.
He said: "I am a little bit surprised to see him go.
"I felt the key for AVB was going to be the Napoli game, but obviously the result at the weekend was probably just a bit too much for the club and they have changed."
