Chelsea and AC Milan legend Ruud Gullit can't believe Real Madrid sold Arjen Robben and Wesley Sneijder last August. The Dutch pair will line up in the World Cup semifinal against Germany, having also reached the Champions League final this year.
"Can someone explain how Madrid allowed them to leave?" declared Gullit. "How could they let Robben go?
"And Sneijder? He could be crowned best player of the World Cup and top scorer.
"They are players of great quality, why let them escape? It's inexplicable."
Robben was sold to Bayern Munich last August, while Inter Milan snapped up Sneijder in the final hours of last summer's transfer market.
