Chelsea legend Ruud Gullit has revealed Blues hero Roberto di Matteo remains upset with his treatment by West Bromwich Albion.
Di Matteo, sacked by the Baggies last year, has led Chelsea to a stunning FA Cup and Champions League Double since taking charge in March.
"Robby is a friend of mine and I know many players, because I regularly go to Chelsea," Gullit told De Telegraaf.
"I have really enjoyed it (Champions League final). Robby told me: 'Ruud I did exactly the same as coach as I did at West Bromwich Albion and there I was fired and with Chelsea I won the Champions League'.
"It's just a matter of quality: these players can meet what Di Matteo and Eddie Newton desire of them; for WBA they could not."
